About us
Who we are
Boy Scout Troop 1777 has been a proud part of the Spotsylvania community for over 28 years. Chartered by American Legion Post 320, our troop has a rich history of fostering leadership, citizenship, and outdoor skills in young men. From our humble beginnings to becoming one of the most active and respected troops in the region, we remain committed to the principles of scouting and the development of our members.
Our Mission
Building Tomorrow's Leaders Through Integrity, Service, and Adventure
Our mission at Troop 1777 is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We are dedicated to creating an environment where scouts can grow into confident, capable leaders who are ready to take on any challenge.
American Legion Post 320
Troop 1777 is proudly chartered by American Legion Post 320, an organization committed to supporting Veterans and community initiatives in Spotsylvania. The American Legion provides invaluable support to our troop, allowing us to offer a wide range of activities and programs to our scouts.
